Garuḍa Learns the Cause of Vinatā’s Bondage and the Nāgas Demand Amṛta (Ādi Parva, Adhyāya 23)
न भी: कार्या कथं चात्र पश्यध्वं सहिता मम । एवमुक्तास्तदा गत्वा गरुडं वाग्भिरस्तुवन्
na bhīḥ kāryā kathaṃ cātra paśyadhvaṃ sahitā mama | evamuktās tadā gatvā garuḍaṃ vāgbhir astuvan ||
قال شاونَكا: «لا تخافوا. وكيف يكون هنا سببٌ للخوف؟ الزموا الاتحاد معي وانظروا بأنفسكم». فلما قيل لهم ذلك مضَوا، وأثنَوا على غارودا بكلمات المديح.
