आदि पर्व — द्रौपदी-स्वयंवरानन्तरवृत्तम्

Aftermath of Draupadī’s Svayaṃvara

एते चान्ये च बहवो धार्तराष्ट्रा महाबला: । कर्णेन सहिता वीरास्त्वदर्थ समुपागता:,धृष्ट्युम्नने कहा--बहिन! यह देखो--दुर्योधन, दुर्विषह, दुर्मुख, दुष्प्रधर्षण, विविंशति, विकर्ण, सह, दुःशासन, युयुत्सु, वायुवेग, भीमवेगरव, उग्रायुध, बलाकी, करकायु, विरोचन, कुण्डक, चित्रसेन, सुवर्चा, कनकध्वज, ननन्‍्दक, बाहुशाली, तुहुण्ड तथा विकट--ये और दूसरे भी बहुत-से महाबली धूृतराष्ट्रपुत्र जो सब-के-सब वीर हैं, तुम्हें प्राप्त करनेके लिये कर्णके साथ यहाँ पधारे हैं

ete cānye ca bahavo dhārtarāṣṭrā mahābalāḥ | karṇena sahitā vīrās tvad-arthaṃ samupāgatāḥ ||

قال دْهْرِشْتَدْيُومْنَ: «وهناك غيرهم كثيرون—من أبناء دْهْرِتَرَاشْتْرَ (Dhṛtarāṣṭra) ذوي البأس الشديد؛ أبطالٌ قدموا إلى هنا مجتمعين مع كَرْنَ (Karṇa)، وقد جاءوا من أجلكِ».
