यस्तु नोच्छेदनं चक्रे कुशिकानामुदारधी: । विश्वामित्रापराधेन धारयन् मन्युमुत्तमम्,विश्वामित्रके अपराधसे मनमें पवित्र क्रोध धारण करते हुए भी उन उदारबुद्धि महर्षिने कुशिकवंशका समूलोच्छेद नहीं किया
yastu nocchedanaṃ cakre kuśikānām udāradhīḥ | viśvāmitrāparādhena dhārayan manyum uttamam ||
إنّ الحكيم النبيل، وإن حمل في صدره غضبًا طاهرًا وعادلًا بسبب إساءة فيشواميترا، لم يُقدِم على استئصال سلالة كوشيكا من جذورها.
गन्धर्व उवाच
Even when anger arises from a real offence, dharma is shown by restraint and by refusing excessive vengeance—specifically, not destroying an entire lineage for the fault connected with one person.
A Gandharva describes a magnanimous sage who, despite being provoked by Viśvāmitra’s wrongdoing and holding intense anger within, chose not to uproot the Kuśika clan, emphasizing moral self-control in the face of provocation.
