Saṃvaraṇa’s Petition and Tapatī’s Conditioned Consent (सम्वरण-तपती संवादः)
समागताश्च वीरेण दृष्टपूर्वाश्व॒ राक्षसा: | बलवन्तो महाकाया निहताश्षाप्पनेकश:,मैंने पहले भी बहुत-से बलवान् और विशालकाय राक्षस देखे हैं, जो मेरे वीर पुत्रसे भिड़कर अपने प्राणोंसे हाथ धो बैठे हैं
samāgatāś ca vīreṇa dṛṣṭapūrvāś ca rākṣasāḥ | balavanto mahākāyā nihatāḥ śāpa-anekaśaḥ ||
لقد رأيت من قبلُ رَاكشساتٍ كثيرين—أشدّاء عِظام الأجساد—تقدّموا لمواجهة ذلك البطل؛ ومرّةً بعد مرّة ضُربوا صرعى، فلقوا حتفهم حين اصطدموا به.
