विकर्षन्तौ महावेगौ गर्जमानौ परस्परम् | पश्यैवं युधि विक्रान्तावेती च नरराक्षसौ,देखिये, युद्धमें पराक्रम दिखानेवाले वे दोनों मनुष्य और राक्षस जोर-जोरसे गर्जि रहे हैं और बड़े वेगसे गुत्थम-गुत्थ होकर एक-दूसरेको अपनी ओर खींच रहे हैं
vikarṣantau mahāvegau garjamānau parasparam | paśyaivaṁ yudhi vikrāntāv etī ca nara-rākṣasau ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: انظروا! في غمار القتال يُظهر هذان—أحدهما إنسان والآخر راكشسا—بسالةً ضارية. يزأران أحدهما في وجه الآخر، ويتشابكان بقوةٍ هائلة، وكلٌّ منهما يجرّ خصمه نحوه.
