खनकेन तु तेनैव वेश्म शोधयता बिलम् । पांसुभि: पिहितं तच्च पुरुषैस्तैर्न लक्षितम्,उसी सुरंग खोदनेवाले पुरुषने घरको साफ करते समय सुरंगके छेदको धूलसे ढक दिया था। इससे दूसरे लोगोंकी दृष्टि उसपर नहीं पड़ी
khanakena tu tenaiva veśma śodhayatā bilam | pāṃsubhiḥ pihitaṃ tacca puruṣais tair na lakṣitam ||
وأما ذلك الذي حفر النفق نفسه، فإنه حين كان ينظّف البيت غطّى فوهة الفتحة بالتراب والغبار. فلما استترت على هذا النحو لم يلحظها الرجال الآخرون.
