आदि पर्व, अध्याय 139 — Hiḍimba’s Detection and Hiḍimbā’s Approach to Bhīma
स्वभावादगमच्छब्दो महीं सागरमेखलाम् | अर्जुनस्य समो लोके नास्ति कश्रिद् धनुर्धर:,इस प्रकार समुद्रपर्यन्त पृथ्वीपर सब ओर अपने-आप ही यह बात फैल गयी कि संसारमें अर्जुनके समान दूसरा कोई धनुर्धर नहीं है
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | svabhāvād agamac chabdo mahīṃ sāgara-mekhalām | Arjunasya samo loke nāsti kaścid dhanurdharaḥ ||
قال فايشامبايانا: وبقوة اندفاعها انتشرت الأخبار في أرجاء الأرض المحاطة بالمحيط، أن لا رامِيَ قوسٍ في العالم يضاهي أرجونا.
