कर्णप्रवेशः—रङ्गे द्वन्द्वयुद्धप्रस्तावः तथा अङ्गराज्याभिषेकः

तथैनं बलिनां श्रेष्ठ तस्य राज्ञो महात्मन: । मातरिश्वा ददौ पुत्र भीम॑ नाम महाबलम्,“उसी प्रकार उन महात्मा राजाको साक्षात् वायु देवताने यह महाबली भीम नामक पुत्र प्रदान किया है, जो समस्त बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ है
tathaiva enaṃ balināṃ śreṣṭha tasya rājño mahātmanaḥ | mātariśvā dadau putra bhīmaṃ nāma mahābalam ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: «وكذلك، يا خيرَ الأقوياء، منح ماتاريشفان (إله الريح) لذلك الملك العظيم النفس ابنًا بالغ القوة اسمه بهيما (Bhīma)، سيكون في مقدّمة جميع ذوي البأس.»
