न सीदेतामदुःखाहें मा गमो भरतर्षभ । “इस मार्गपर केवल वायु चल सकती है तथा सिद्ध महर्षि भी जा सकते हैं। इस पर्वतराजपर चलती हुई ये दोनों राजकुमारियाँ कैसे कष्ट न पायेंगी? भरतवंशशिरोमणे! ये दोनों रानियाँ दुःख सहन करनेके योग्य नहीं हैं; अतः आप न चलिये'
na sīdetām aduḥkhāhe mā gamo bharatarṣabha
قال ڤيشامبايانا: «لا تدعا هاتين الاثنتين، غير المعتادتين على المشقّة، تقعان في الضيق. لا تمضِ قُدُمًا، يا ثورَ آلِ بهاراتا. في هذا الطريق لا يتحرّك إلا الريح، وحتى الحكماء الكاملون لا يمرّون به إلا بصعوبة؛ فكيف تمشي هاتان الأميرتان على ملك الجبال هذا دون أن تتألّما؟ يا جوهرة تاج سلالة بهاراتا، إن هاتين الملكتين لا تطيقان مثل هذا العناء—فلذلك لا تتابع المسير».
