Pāṇḍu’s Funeral Rites and Public Mourning
पौरवाणां महाराज तेषामक्लिष्टकर्मणाम् | वंशे जातस्य कौरव्य नानुरूपमिदं तव,महाराज! क्लेशरहित कर्म करनेवाले कुरुवंशियोंके कुलमें जन्म लेकर तुमने जो यह कार्य किया है, यह तुम्हारे अनुरूप नहीं है
pauravāṇāṃ mahārāja teṣām akliṣṭakarmaṇām | vaṃśe jātasya kauravya nānurūpam idaṃ tava, mahārāja ||
أيها الملك العظيم، لقد وُلدتَ في سلالة الباورافا، قومٍ لا تتلطخ أعمالهم بالقسوة ولا بإيقاع الأذى بالآخرين. يا كاورافيا، إن هذا الفعل الذي فعلته لا يليق بك، أيها الملك.
