इति श्रीमहाभारते आदिपर्वणि सम्भवपर्वणि कर्णसम्भवे दशाधिकशततमो< ध्याय:,इस प्रकार श्रीमह्यझा भारत आदिपव॑ीके अन्तर्गत सम्भवपर्वमें कर्णकी उत्पत्तिसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला एक सौ दसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti śrīmahābhārate ādiparvaṇi sambhavaparvaṇi karṇasambhave daśādhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |
وهكذا، في «شري مهابهاراتا»، ضمن «آدي بَرْفا» وبخاصة «سَمْبهافا بَرْفا»، ينتهي الفصلُ العاشرُ بعد المئة، المتعلّق بأصل كَرْنَة (Karṇa) وقصة مولده. ويُعدّ هذا الكولوفون علامةَ اكتمال هذه الوحدة السردية، إذ يُغلق رسميًّا الحلقة التي تُؤطّر بدايات كَرْنَة وما يكتنفها من توتّرٍ أخلاقي حول المولد والهوية والاعتراف الاجتماعي.
वैशग्पायन उवाच
As a colophon, the verse itself teaches by framing: it signals that Karṇa’s origin narrative is a completed unit, inviting reflection on how birth and social labeling shape ethical dilemmas—yet dharma ultimately concerns conduct and truth, not merely lineage.
The text is closing the chapter: it formally concludes the portion of the Sambhava Parva that deals with Karṇa’s birth/origin, marking the end of that episode in the Ādi Parva.
