Pāṇḍu’s Gifts, Forest Residence, and Vidura’s Marriage
ततः कुमारं सा देवी प्राप्तकालमजीजनत् । पाण्डुं लक्षणसम्पन्नं दीप्यमानमिव श्रिया,तदनन्तर देवी अम्बालिकाने समय आनेपर एक पाण्डुवर्णके पुत्रको जन्म दिया। वह अपनी दिव्य कान्तिसे उद्धासित हो रहा था
tataḥ kumāraṃ sā devī prāptakālam ajījanat | pāṇḍuṃ lakṣaṇasampannaṃ dīpyamānam iva śriyā ||
ثم إن تلك الملكة، لما جاء الأوان، ولدت ابنًا—پاندو—مكتمل العلامات المباركة، متلألئًا كأنه مُضاءٌ بنور «شري» إلهة الحظ والرخاء.
