अहङ्कारावलेपेन गर्जसि त्वमतन्द्रितः उपकारो ह्यसाधूनाम् अपकाराय केवलम्
ahaṅkārāvalepena garjasi tvamatandritaḥ upakāro hyasādhūnām apakārāya kevalam
مُعْمًى بسُكْر الأنا، تزأر بلا فتور، لا تهدأ. حقًّا إن الإحسان إلى غير الصالحين لا يكون إلا سببًا للضرر—فالمقيَّدون بحبل الباشا (pāśa) يقلبون النعمة أذًى.

It frames Linga-worship as inner purification: without dissolving ahaṅkāra (ego), devotion becomes noise, and the bound soul (paśu) misuses even sacred grace.
By implication, Shiva as Pati is the liberator from pāśa (bondage) like pride; the verse contrasts Shiva’s purifying order with the ego-driven disorder of the asādhu.
