श्रुतिमद्भिश् च विप्रेन्द्रैः संसिद्धैश् च तपस्विभिः प्रतिमासं तथाष्टम्यां प्रतिमासं चतुर्दशीम्
śrutimadbhiś ca viprendraiḥ saṃsiddhaiś ca tapasvibhiḥ pratimāsaṃ tathāṣṭamyāṃ pratimāsaṃ caturdaśīm
وكذلك يحافظ على هذه العبادة براهمةٌ عارفون بالڤيدا—وهم سادةُ ذوي الميلادين—وبزُهّادٍ قد بلغوا الكمال؛ فتُقام كل شهر: في اليوم القمري الثامن (أشتَمي) وفي اليوم الرابع عشر (تشاتورداشي)، أزمنةً مقدّسة لعبادة باتي (الرب شيفا) الذي يُرخِي قيود الـپاشا (pāśa) عن الـپاشو (النفس الفردية).
