यतिप्रायश्चित्तविधानम्

Ascetic Atonements and Discipline

अहिंसा सर्वभूतानां कर्मणा मनसा गिरा अकामादपि हिंसेत यदि भिक्षुः पशून् कृमीन्

ahiṃsā sarvabhūtānāṃ karmaṇā manasā girā akāmādapi hiṃseta yadi bhikṣuḥ paśūn kṛmīn

اللاّعنف تجاه جميع الكائنات—بالعمل وبالفكر وبالكلمة—هو القاعدة؛ ومع ذلك، إن آذى البِكشو، ولو بلا رغبة في الإيذاء، حيوانًا أو حتى دودةً، عُدَّ أنه خالف ذلك النذر. ولـپاشو (النفس المقيّدة) الساعي إلى نعمة شيفا، فإن هذا الكفّ هو بابُ إرخاء الـپاشا (القيد) والتوجّه إلى پَتي (الربّ).
