Shivamurti–Pratishtha Phala: Shivalaya-Nirmana, Kshetra-Mahatmya, Tirtha-Snana, and Mandala-Vidhi
prasaṃgādvāramekaṃ tu śivatīrthe 'vagāhya ca mṛtaḥ svayaṃ dvijaśreṣṭhā gāṇapatyamavāptavān
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It teaches that Śiva’s grace (anugraha) can manifest through His tīrthas: even an accidental contact—entering and bathing—can elevate a pashu (bound soul) toward Śiva’s proximity, here expressed as becoming one of the Gaṇas.
Śiva is shown as Pati whose sanctifying power operates beyond mere human merit; His tīrtha functions as a conduit of purification and uplift, indicating Śiva-tattva as compassionate and liberating through sacred presence.
Tīrtha-snāna (ritual immersion in a Śiva-tīrtha) is highlighted; the verse implies that contact with Śiva’s sacred locus can sever pasha (bondage) and grant higher post-mortem attainment—proximity to Śiva’s Gaṇa-sphere.
