Adhyaya 70: आदिसर्गः—महत्-अहङ्कार-तन्मात्रा-भूतसृष्टिः, ब्रह्माण्डावरणम्, प्रजासर्गः, त्रिमूर्ति-शैवाधिष्ठानम्
अस्यात्मना सर्वमिदं व्याप्तं त्वासीच्छिवेच्छया गुणसाम्ये तदा तस्मिन्न् अविभागे तमोमये
asyātmanā sarvamidaṃ vyāptaṃ tvāsīcchivecchayā guṇasāmye tadā tasminn avibhāge tamomaye
بذاته هو نفذت هذه الكلّية كلَّ شيء؛ وبمشيئة شيفا، حينئذٍ—إذ كانت الغونات الثلاث في توازن تام—كان الوجود قائماً في تلك الحالة غير المنقسمة، المغمورة بالظلمة (غير المتجلّية).
