It frames liberation as a distinctly Shaiva attainment (śaivam paraṃ padam): through unwavering conviction and freedom from desire, the pashu becomes fit for Pati’s grace—an inner prerequisite for meaningful Linga-puja.
Shiva is implied as Pati and the supreme goal (paraṃ padam): the highest state beyond doubt and craving, where the soul rests in Shaiva realization rather than worldly identity.
The verse highlights the yogic discipline of niḥspṛhatā (desirelessness) and tyakta-saṃdeha (certainty/absence of doubt), central to Pashupata-oriented inner practice that culminates in Shaiva liberation.
