Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.87.26 (devotion statement concluding the list)
This verse highlights Vishnu as the cosmic sustainer who actively upholds dharma, even by assuming specific forms when needed.
By emphasizing 'viṣṇu-parāyaṇāḥ' (Vishnu as the highest refuge), it points to devotion as a guiding principle for spiritual direction and protection, complementing Garuda Purana’s broader afterlife teachings.
Cultivate steady devotion and ethical living aligned with dharma, taking Vishnu (the sustaining principle) as one’s primary refuge in conduct and remembrance.
