Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.170 (agni-dīpana spice groups: pañcakola, tri-uṣaṇa; skin/anorectal indications)
This verse treats agni as the foundation of health: pungent formulations like pañcakola and tri-uṣaṇa are described as agni-kṛt—agents that kindle digestion and thereby support recovery from disease.
It does not directly discuss the soul’s journey; instead, it presents practical dharmic self-care—maintaining health and digestion—as part of righteous living taught in the Purana’s instructional sections.
Use the verse as a traditional reference for diet-and-herb based digestive support; apply with guidance from a qualified Ayurveda practitioner, especially for chronic piles or skin disorders.
