المسूर (العدس) حلو المذاق، نافعٌ للجسد وقابض؛ يسكّن الكَفَه والپِتّا. وكذلك الكلاية (البازلاء) ذات خصالٍ حسنة كثيرة، لكنها تزيد الڤاتا زيادةً شديدة.
