This verse presents goat’s milk as a therapeutic food—useful for bloody diarrhoea, respiratory complaints (cough and breathlessness), kapha reduction, and as supportive for eyesight and vitality.
Alongside afterlife and dharma topics, the Garuda Purana also preserves practical teachings on bodily maintenance; here it frames food as medicine through classical dosha-based effects.
Use the verse as a traditional reference for diet-conscious living—choosing foods by their observed effects on kapha and bleeding tendencies—while seeking qualified medical guidance for conditions like raktapitta or dysentery.
