إذا كان الهضمُ متوازناً فليُحافَظ عليه. وإذا كان غيرَ منتظم فليُكفَّ الواتَه (vāta). وإذا كان حادّاً فليُعالَج البِتَّه (pitta). وإذا كان ضعيفاً فلتُنقَّ الكَفَه (kapha) أي البلغم.
