Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.11.11-14 (ṣaḍaṅga/aṅga-nyāsa, kavaca, digbandha, yogapīṭha-dhyāna)
This verse emphasizes performing the rite in a fixed sequence, moving from head to feet, to ensure procedural correctness and ritual completeness.
While not describing the afterlife directly, it supports the broader Garuda Purana framework that proper rites and disciplined procedure aid the intended spiritual outcome connected with death-related observances.
Follow any prescribed religious procedure carefully and sequentially—precision, attentiveness, and respect for tradition are presented as integral to dharmic practice.
