Transliteration

tasmād akīrti-yaśasor jayāpajayayor api samaḥ syāt sukha-duḥkhābhyāṁ mṛtyu-jīvitayos tathā

Translation

ولأن كل شيء متعلّق بالمشيئة العليا لشخصية الإله، فعلى المرء أن يكون متساويًا في الشهرة والذمّ، والنصر والهزيمة، والحياة والموت؛ وأن يحفظ توازنه أمام أثرهما من سرورٍ وألمٍ بلا قلق.
