Parīkṣit’s Final Absorption, Takṣaka’s Bite, Janamejaya’s Snake Sacrifice, and the Vedic Sound-Lineage

This verse states that, as time progresses into Kali Yuga, human lifespan, vitality, and discernment diminish, prompting the sages to make Vedic knowledge more accessible.
Because people in the later age would be short-lived and dull-minded, the great sages divided and organized the Vedas, guided internally by Acyuta, so the teachings could be preserved and understood.
Recognize the limits of time and attention in Kali Yuga and rely on well-organized, devotional study—approaching scripture with sincerity and seeking the Lord’s guidance from within.
