Transliteration

ku-cailaṁ malinaṁ kṣāmaṁ dvijaṁ dhamani-santatam devī paryacarat sākṣāc cāmara-vyajanena vai

Translation

لقد خدمت الإلهة شري (لاكشمي) ذلك البراهمن الفقير بنفسها، تروّحه بمروحة التشامارا؛ كان ثوبه ممزقًا متسخًا، ونحيلًا حتى بدت عروقه في جسده كله.
