The Freed Kings Glorify Kṛṣṇa; Instruction on Kingship, Detachment, and Remembrance
bhavanta etad vijñāya dehādy utpādyam anta-vat māṁ yajanto ’dhvarair yuktāḥ prajā dharmeṇa rakṣyatha
This verse states that the body and all related material conditions are created (utpādyam) and therefore have an end (antavat), so one should center life on worship of Kṛṣṇa and dharmic duty rather than bodily identity.
After establishing proper order and removing oppression in the Jarāsandha episode, Kṛṣṇa emphasizes rajadharma: leaders must govern as a sacred duty—worshiping the Lord and safeguarding subjects through righteous principles.
Remembering life’s impermanence reduces ego and anxiety; one can practice devotion through sincere worship and serve society ethically—doing one’s responsibilities with integrity and compassion.
