Kṛṣṇa Defeats Bāṇāsura and Receives Śiva’s Prayers
The Śoṇitapura Battle and the Jvara Episode
ततस्तिर्यङ्मुखो नग्नामनिरीक्षन् गदाग्रज: । बाणश्च तावद् विरथश्छिन्नधन्वाविशत् पुरम् ॥ २१ ॥
tatas tiryaṅ-mukho nagnām anirīkṣan gadāgrajaḥ bāṇaś ca tāvad virathaś chinna-dhanvāviśat puram
عندئذٍ أدار الربّ غَداغْرَجَة وجهه لئلا ينظر إلى المرأة العارية، وأمّا بَاناسورا، وقد حُرم من مركبته وتكسّر قوسه، فاغتنم الفرصة وفرّ إلى مدينته.
