Uddhava Sent to Vraja: Consolation to Nanda-Yaśodā and the Gopīs’ Separation
yuvayor eva naivāyam ātmajo bhagavān hariḥ sarveṣām ātmajo hy ātmā pitā mātā sa īśvaraḥ
This verse states that Bhagavān Hari is the ātmā (indwelling Self) of all beings; therefore He belongs to everyone—not only as a beloved child, but also as the ultimate father, mother, and controller.
While consoling and teaching Vraja’s elders, Uddhava reveals Krishna’s divine identity: His parental relationship in Vraja is a sweet līlā, yet in truth He is the universal Lord present within all.
See the Lord’s presence within all hearts, reducing possessiveness and grief; relate to Krishna with love while remembering His universal care and sovereignty in every situation.
