Govardhana-dhāraṇa: Kṛṣṇa Lifts Govardhana and Humbles Indra
खं व्यभ्रमुदितादित्यं वातवर्षं च दारुणम् । निशम्योपरतं गोपान् गोवर्धनधरोऽब्रवीत् ॥ २५ ॥
khaṁ vyabhram uditādityaṁ vāta-varṣaṁ ca dāruṇam niśamyoparataṁ gopān govardhana-dharo ’bravīt
فلما رأى أن الريح والمطر العاصفين قد سَكَنا، وأن السماء قد انقشعت وطلعت الشمس، تكلّم الرب شري كريشنا، رافع جبل جوفردهن، إلى رعاة البقر قائلاً.

This verse notes that once the dreadful wind and rain ceased and the sky cleared, Krishna—known as Govardhana-dhara—addressed the relieved cowherds, highlighting His protective shelter over Vraja.

Like the Vrajavāsīs taking shelter of Krishna, one can respond to upheaval by seeking steady spiritual refuge—faith, prayer, and dharmic action—rather than panic, trusting that hardships can subside.
