The Deliverance of Nalakūvara and Maṇigrīva
Yamala-Arjuna Līlā Prelude and Culmination
tad gacchataṁ mat-paramau nalakūvara sādanam sañjāto mayi bhāvo vām īpsitaḥ paramo ’bhavaḥ
The highest perfection of life is to come to the platform of devotional service and always engage in devotional activities. Understanding this, Nalakūvara and Maṇigrīva desired to attain that platform, and the Supreme Personality of Godhead blessed them with the fulfillment of their transcendental desire.
This verse shows that bhāva toward Kṛṣṇa is ultimately granted by the Lord’s grace—He blesses the soul so that the long-desired supreme devotion awakens within the heart.
After freeing them, Kṛṣṇa sends them onward to their proper place and identity connected with Nalakūvara’s household, while blessing them with unwavering devotion to Him as their supreme goal.
Make Kṛṣṇa the highest priority—shape daily choices around remembrance, prayer, and service—so that spiritual life is not occasional but the guiding purpose behind work, relationships, and habits.
