śraddhāya vākyaṁ devarṣer harṣa-vegena dharṣitaḥ vārtā-hartur atiprīto hāraṁ prādān mahā-dhanam
This verse highlights accepting the devarṣi’s instruction with śraddhā (faith), showing that spiritual guidance bears fruit when received trustfully and joyfully.
He was overwhelmed with happiness by the message he received and, out of gratitude, honored the news-bearer by gifting a valuable necklace.
Honor those who help deliver good guidance or supportive news—expressing gratitude strengthens humility and devotional character.
