King Vena’s Tyranny, the Sages’ Counsel, and the Birth of Niṣāda
यज्ञेन युष्मद्विषये द्विजातिभि- र्वितायमानेन सुरा: कला हरे: । स्विष्टा: सुतुष्टा: प्रदिशन्ति वाञ्छितं तद्धेलनं नार्हसि वीर चेष्टितुम् ॥ २२ ॥
yajñena yuṣmad-viṣaye dvijātibhir vitāyamānena surāḥ kalā hareḥ sviṣṭāḥ sutuṣṭāḥ pradiśanti vāñchitaṁ tad-dhelanaṁ nārhasi vīra ceṣṭitum
إذا انشغل البراهمةُ (ذوو الميلادين) في مملكتك بإقامة الياجنا، فإن الآلهة—وهم تجلياتٌ جزئية للرب هري—يَسْتَطيبون ذلك غاية الاستطابة ويمنحونك ما تشتهي. لذلك، أيها البطل، لا توقف القرابين؛ فإن إيقافها استخفافٌ بالآلهة.

This verse says that when qualified brāhmaṇas properly conduct yajña for the beneficiary, the demigods become satisfied and grant the desired results; therefore yajña should not be mocked or obstructed.
Vena was rejecting Vedic religious duties and opposing sacrifice; the brāhmaṇas warned him that yajña pleases the demigods—who are connected to Hari—and brings rightful results, so he should not commit such irreligious contempt.
Respect sacred practices and those who preserve dharma; avoid cynicism toward sincere worship, and support spiritually uplifting acts that cultivate gratitude, discipline, and devotion to God.
