त एते मुनय: क्षत्तर्लोकान्सर्गैरभावयन् । एष कर्दमदौहित्रसन्तान: कथितस्तव ॥ ४६ ॥ शृण्वत: श्रद्दधानस्य सद्य: पापहर: पर: । प्रसूतिं मानवीं दक्ष उपयेमे ह्यजात्मज: ॥ ४७ ॥
ta ete munayaḥ kṣattar lokān sargair abhāvayan eṣa kardama-dauhitra- santānaḥ kathitas tava
يا فيدورا (يا خَطّ)، لقد زاد هؤلاء المونِيّون سكان العوالم بسلالاتهم المتولدة من الخلق. وهذه هي ذرية بنات كَردَمَ التي قصصتُها عليك.
This verse states that great sages expanded and populated the worlds through their progeny, establishing human and higher lineages as part of cosmic creation.
He is concluding a genealogical narration, informing Vidura that the descendants arising from Kardama Muni’s line (through his daughters) have now been described.
They teach continuity of dharma through generations—encouraging responsibility, purity of conduct, and remembrance that family life can be aligned with spiritual purpose.
