Sukta 10
अपादेति प्रथमा पद्वतीनां कस्तद् वां मित्रावरुणा चिकेत । गर्भो भारं भरत्या चिदस्या ऋतं पिपर्त्यनृतं नि पाति
ápā́deti prathamā́ padvátīnām kás tád vā́m mitrāvaruṇā́ ciketa | gárbho bhāráṃ bharaty ā́ cid asyā́ ṛtáṃ pipárty ánṛtaṃ ní pāti
Forth comes the first among the footed forms: who, Mitra-Varuṇa, of you twain hath known that? The embryo bears the burden even of her; it maketh ṛta full, and it keepeth down unṛta.
تتقدّمُ خارجةً الأولى بين الأشكالِ ذواتِ الأقدام؛ فمن منكما، يا مِترا–ڤارونا، قد عرف ذلك؟ إنَّ الجنينَ يحملُ العبءَ حتى عنها؛ يُتمُّ ṛta ويملؤه، ويكبحُ unṛta ويُخضعه.
