Sukta 102
आहं खिदामि ते मनो राजाश्वः पृष्ट्यामिव । रेष्मच्छिन्नं यथा तृणं मयि ते वेष्टतां मनः
ā́haṃ khidā́mi te máno rājā́śvaḥ pṛṣṭhyā́m iva | reśmáccʰinnaṃ yáthā́ tṛ́ṇaṃ máyi te veṣṭatāṃ mánaḥ ||
I harry down thy mind, as one the royal steed beneath the back-strap’s hold; as grass is wound when cut by rein, so round about me let thy mind enwreathe itself.
أُخضعُ ذهنَك وأقهره، كما يُقهر الجوادُ الملكيّ تحت رباط الظهر؛ وكما يلتفّ العشبُ إذا قُطع باللِّجام، كذلك فليلتفّ ذهنُك حولي من كلّ جانب.
