Sukta 15
शतं च मे सहस्रं चापवक्तार ओषधे । ऋतजात ऋतावरि मधु मे मधुला करः
śatáṃ ca mé sahásraṃ cāpavaktā́ra oṣadhe | ṛtájāta ṛtā́vari mádhu me madhulā́ karáḥ ||
A hundred for me, and a thousand—O Herb—(be thou) the repellers. Born of Ṛta, O Ṛta-covering one: make for me sweetness, make (all) honeyed.
مئةٌ لي، وألفٌ لي—يا أُوشَذِي (العُشبة)—كوني دافِعاتٍ طارداتٍ (أپَوَفَكتارَ). يا مولودةً من رِتا (Ṛta)، يا ساترةَ رِتا (ṛtāvarī): اجعلي لي حلاوةً؛ واجعلي (كلَّ شيء) مُعسَّلًا.
