Sukta 14
vayám u tvā́m apū́rvya sthū́raṃ ná kaccíd bháranto 'vasyávaḥ | vā́je citráṃ havāmahe
We, bringing our offerings, craving succor, invoke thee—unrivalled, stout—whom none anywhere surpasseth; we call the wondrous one for the prize of strength.
Rishi: RV-derived; traditionally Vasiṣṭha-associated in AV 20 context
Devata: Indra (contextual)
Chandas: Gāyatrī/Anuṣṭubh-like short meter (RV-style; exact pada-count suggests a gāyatrī-type cadence)
