Sukta 7
उद् घेदभि श्रुतामघं वृषभं नर्यापसम्। अस्तारमेषि सूर्य
úd ghed abhí śrutā́m agháṃ vṛṣabháṃ naryā́pasam | ástāram eṣi sū́rya ||
Up verily thou movest against the famed evil—(as) the Bull of manly deeds, the Overcomer: thou goest on, O Sūrya.
حقًّا إنك تنهضُ في مواجهة الشرّ المشهور—كالثورِ ذي الأعمالِ الرجولية، الغالبِ القاهر؛ تمضي قُدُمًا، يا سُوريا.
