Mantra 25

Sukta 3

पूताः पवित्रैः पवन्ते अभ्राद् दिवं च यन्ति पृथिवीं च लोकान्। ता जीवला जीवधन्याः प्रतिष्ठाः पात्र आसिक्ताः पर्यग्निरिन्धाम्

pūtā́ḥ pavítraiḥ pavante abhrā́d dívaṃ ca yánti pṛthivī́ṃ ca lokā́n | tā́ jīvalā́ jīvádhanyāḥ pratíṣṭhāḥ pā́tre ā́siktāḥ pár yagnír índhām ||

Purified by purifiers they run clear; from the cloud they go to heaven and to earth, to the worlds. Those waters, life-giving, rich in living wealth, firm foundations—poured into the vessel—let Agni kindle round about.

مُطَهَّرَةً بِالمُطَهِّرَاتِ تَجْرِي صَافِيَةً؛ مِنَ السَّحَابِ تَمْضِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَإِلَى الأَرْضِ، إِلَى العَوَالِم. تِلْكَ المِيَاهُ—وَاهِبَةُ الحَيَاة، غَنِيَّةٌ بِثَرْوَةِ الحَيَاة، رَاسِخَةٌ كَأُسُس—لَمَّا تُصَبُّ فِي الإِنَاءِ: فَلْيُوقِدْ أَغْنِي النَّارَ حَوْلَهَا.
